Can't Promise a Fairytale episode 07

I set my dogs free in the yard to play while I went upstairs to start on my English assignment that was due next friday. Today is Wednesday. I went into my room and went on my computer. I notice about 2 new message on my e-mail. I clicked on it and it was a message from Nick. Both of the message was from Nick. One was a video and another was in words. I clicked on the words one and read it out loud. "dear Selena. For the past few years, I've miss treated you. I'm sorry I changed and I'm sorry I replaced you. In my heart you could never be replace. I was wondering if you would want to have dinner with me." I clicked reply and wrote back "wow can't even get the guts to asked me in person? This is a joke and I don't appreciate you playing a trick on me Nick. Get some nerves and ask me out in person if you really like me." I clicked send and decide to delete the other message from him.

That night, my parents decide to start their vacation early. And I mean 2 months in advance early. Usually their vacation is 4 months. This time is was half a year. They were gonna be in Washington dc. Which means that the house was mine and Mitchel. Mitchel went to his girlfriends house for dinner and that night, I decided not go eat. I wasn't all that hungry anyways. I stayed upstairs and laid on my bed listening to my music and reading my favorite novel, love (and other uses for duck tape). Suddenly my laptop beeped. I opened it and it said requesting video chat: Nick jonas. I clicked approve.

"hey you finally answered." he said with a big smiled.

"can I help you with anything? Why did you video request me?" I asked him. I didn't like the fact that he had forgotten our friendship and now he notices me again.

"I got your reply. I just really want to go on a date with you Selena. Like your different. I like different." Nick said with a smile plastered on his face.

I closed my laptop and asked him how. "how am I different? I'm not a charity case Nick. Just please let me be invisible and unnoticed."

I could hear him sigh and say "why won't you just give me a chance boo boo bear?" boo boo bear was a Nick name that he would call me in 2nd grade because I was always getting hurt.

"I can't believe you still remember that. And no Nick. If it was meant to happen, he wouldve happened already. I'm going to sleep. Good night." I left the laptop on and fell asleep to his voice. I do like Nick. I like him a lot. It's just the fact the he's finally taking a chance on me senior year, just shows that he feels sorry for me.
