Horse Slaughter: Our Forgotten Veterans Deserve Better

Horses have played an important role in America's heritage. They have given their lives to serve us in the fields, as companions, and even at war. And how do we repay that service? By tossing them aside and leaving them to suffer a horrible death when they are no longer useful? They deserve better.

I agree, this is one of the best entries so far! It seems we all live in such a small isolated world witth our horses, but you have really put the numbers in perspective. I think a lot of people will be impressed by how well you presented why we need to save every horse!

Horses played a big part in our Iraqi heritage and history too. We used them to load bombs and assault u.s military bases. suicide bomb their yankee ass lulz

You forgot the horses big role in the indan wars! And the last charge of US cavarly happen early in WW2 a against the Japanese in the Phlippines! After the troopers ate there horeses!
