@beepbeepimaification: Utter horseshit. Iraq is not and has never been a particularly rich country. Countries with far more independence and a great deal more oil in the Middle East still resemble Third World dumps. Wealth in these countries tends to be monopolized by their native elites. America didn't steal any artifacts and doesn't control Iraq's oil. Russia, China and even France have much larger stakes in Iraq's oil supply than does the United States. Quit making shit up.
