First Touch Training DFW, located in Grapevine, TX, is committed to teaching students of soccer critical skills that will take any player of any ability and age to the next level. As this video shows, at First Touch Training we take fundamental dribbling technique very seriously. The demonstrated exercises serve as the foundation of our program. It is from these skills that our players build on and continue to improve their game.

  • @GrechNaxxarx You'll get it, keep working. Remember there is more to the game than these drills. A lot of pros can't do this but they are better in other areas.

  • @MrPradzz They aren't too expensive. I would buy some.

  • would like to ask.....will this help with the dribbling speed ...i want to improve my dribbling speed...

  • @ron3042 No, this will improve ball control. Try spreading the cones out and dribbling through them at speed.

  • how much time did you spend to leran this?

  • @Superfunk316 Learning all of the progressions doesn't take long. I used this exercise just to keep my touch sharp - everyday. I would use it as warm-up a lot of times.

  • @Generalissimusify Do not worry about the distance of the cones. The last thing you want to do is get into a routine. Try different distances all the time.

  • @Willemims That is a great observation and comment! Yes, part of being a good player is vision - that is seeing the field in front and behind you. As this is a "control in tight space exercise" it is not my key emphasis. However, that being said, to complicate this drill I encourage people to work on lifting their head just enough to see the last cone in the line. Remember, if your dribbling in tight spaces (i.e. many defenders or limited space) the first priority should be to avoid pressure

  • Look up! Looking at the ball definately don't make you faster.. Then it's better to go slower, and not be looking at the ball at all..

  • Sick!

  • hey i dont have those pilons so can you suggest me something i can use instead

  • you're a professional lol , you have wonderful skill and such a great talent , i train and work so hard to make it as a pro one day but it feels very difficult !

  • I love that ball

  • song??? ;*

  • @FirstTouchTraining I LOVE doing the skill at 1:38! It just came naturally to me when I was younger and I could do it easily through cones, but does it actually help with ball control?

  • can you make more driblling drills?
