MUST BE OFF! with tripod.
Its just waisting energy! PLUS you will get focus problems. hmmm! its blurry... aaah the gyros are moving the lens without need and after they let go the image goes a little off focus..

Nice camera and nice lens. :)
However...it looks like your VR switch is set to "ON." It is recommended by Nikon to turn VR off when shooting on a tripod.
