@215alessio most automobiles still use them with the exception of nissan and a few others that have camless valve control.

remember the H1 kawasaki 500,at 6000,rpm all hell would break out,the carbs were a little big or jetted fat,at 6,000 just the right amount of air and gas,ignition timing would bring on the power.
