News flash kiddo, Laws are passed by Congress, not ratified by the States.
RetSquid 1 day ago
@RetSquid that law was never ratified, there is a certain amount of states needed, it wasnt, our government passed the NDAA, National Defense Authorization Act, on Dec. 31st, You know when everyone was paying attention to the news (sarcasm) which makes it legal to detain anyone indefinitely without trial by the military, our government hasnt changed they are deceptive, nothing they say means jack shit, they have lied and forged so many things, a statute, or whatever, it doesnt matter

The Internal Revenue Code of 1954 was passed by both houses of Congress as House Resolution 8300, and was signed by President Eisenhower on August 16, 1954, at about 9:45 a.m., becoming Public Law 83-591, 68A Stat. 3. The Internal Revenue Code is now known as the “Internal Revenue Code of 1986” as a result of changes made by Public Law 99-514, 100 Stat. 2085 (10/22/1986).
