If you use memory cards there'll be problems with 360/ps3 compatibility so that's not a solution.

Me personally at first I was "sfxtekken, awesome!", then "it's 2vs2, meh", then "cross assault whatever, no me gusta", then "pandora mode, this is ridiculous", then "gems... screw this game, I'm playing AE".

@29once I totally agree with you. i was excited about stxt but the more i heard the more i really couldnt give a crap. Capcom need to remeber how to make games. Their recent model seems to be add gimmicky crap like x-factor which totally ruined mvc3 for me (a comeback isnt really that epic when your character is 10x stronger). The reason SSF4 is so great is because it has great core mechanics. things like xfactor and such just take out all the skill.

The only way the Gem system would be even remotely acceptable is if ALL gems are available to EVERYONE, whether it be through timed unlocks, or completing challenges within the game. Making certain gems exclusive to pre-orders or paid DLC would make the game lose all credibility for ever being considered as a competitive game.

There will probably be specific gem requirements only for tournament play. If it's a customisation for a variety then the lack of skill will be decreased onto the player due to upgrades.

I don't agree with the reasons for banning that Dante glitch. Ok...so you can't do anything whilst you're being chipped out till you either almost die, or die. I also hear, the glitch can be dropped by input error.

Wait...that sounds like a normal combo in MVC3....whilst you're caught in a combo you can't do shit unless they kill, or they drop...not only that, you need to be trapped into this glitch, so avoid getting hit by it.

But, I personally would ban it due to it slowing the game flow.

@shanelknowles yeah that just makes things more complicated. I dunno why a 360 can't have more than one, cause a PS3 has 4 slots, and if they do the whole "ps2 controller with ps3 adapter cord" like with EVO, you still got two more with the free spaces....it just gets messed
