Vivaldi's Stabat Mater I, II, III, IV

II. Cuius animam "Through her soul, of joy bereaved, bowed with anguish, deeply grieved, now at length the sword hath passed."

III. O quam tristis "Oh how sad and sore distressed was Mother highly blessed, of the sole-begotten One!"

IV. Qui est homo "Is there one who would not weep, Whelm'd in miseries so deep Christ's dear Mother to behold?"

Honourable Sir, I am most grateful for your kind response to my comments on your celestial rendition of Vivaldi's "Stabat Mater." I could not understand how anyone but a servant and instrument of the All-Holy Trinity could sing so exquisitely in honour of the Sorrows of Our Most Pure Lady. As a Russian Orthodox Christian, I shall ask my priest to commemorate you at all Divine Liturgies that he serves. May She Whom you so gloriously hymn cover you always with Her Protecting Veil.
