i really wanted to edit this song and it took me quite a while to find the perfect anime but i think this song really fit well with higurashi. I included some voice overs because i thought it would make it a little easier to understand for all the people who haven't seen this series. I absolutely love higurashi. I watched it right when it came out and it is definitely in my top favorite anime. Its a really beautiful story and you should really watch it if you haven't seen it yet. The first season can get a bit gory and it looks like it has no storyline but it actually does so you should definitely give it a chance :3 I focused the amv on takano and rika because they are pretty much the main characters. the anime is pretty much about rika's struggle to win against her fate. anyway, please enjoy and comment!

here is the storyline of higurashi kai (the second season) to better understand what's happening:

Continuing from the first series, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai begins to shed some light on the dark mysteries prevalent in the preceding season. The young group of friends in the town of Hinamizawa continue to enter terrible conflicts with one another in their never ending summer of 1983, often ending with the brutal murder of one of their numbers. Furude Rika, with the help of her spiritual friend Hanyuu, tackles challenges over and over, trying her best to keep their lives from coming to a tragic end. With no end to the torture in sight, Rika must call upon the bonds of friendship and trust among her friends to discover the true villain of this eternal June.

thanks :3 yeah that is definitely what i was trying to do. I really like horror and suspense so I watched the first season and i didn't think it would end up having that much of a storyline but then season 2 just blew me away! I'm just so happy i gave it a chance!
