  • I don't think DENNIS JAMES need any training advice from YOU !!!!!!!!!

  • were not talkn about how stong powerlifters are to bodybuilders. im more impressed with a 400-500 lift and them doing it lookn like a stone statue rather then 1000 and looking like a sloppy bag of shit u see in a supermarket

  • @steroidsR4losers7 Fuck you.

  • @ffgymrat19 I know all that names. I even had "fight" with FLetcher as he said he was natural. ;) Jeremy impress me most as he is strong as hell and light as heaven. :D

  • @inktoxicated i could give you a list a mile long of hundreds and thousands of powerlifters who are in great shape and actually have functional muscle

  • @BodyHeaven technique is a huge part of powerlifting because the name of the game is LIFTING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. not using shitty form then boasting because some other guy outlifted you with worse form. if you want some references of big guys who bench lots with looser form search glen chabot, jeremy hoornstra, ct fletcher, fuck the list is endless. all in great shape too. also search kirk karwoski, kirill sarychev, eric lilliebridge, the list is endless. your knowledge is limited

  • @BodyHeaven its a byproduct of the training between the two. powerlifters dont need to get as big as these guys to lift the weights they do because its not necessary. bodybuilders dont focus on how much weight they can lift. and theres a difference between RAW benching and geared. to shit on all powerlifters benchpresses by making fun of gear is fucking stupid. theres two different types of lifting. geared lifting i dont like, but i still respect it

  • @BodyHeaven there are so many things wrong with this post, i might need to take a few paragraphs to get thru to you but we'll see. powerlifters are not fat. its no different then any sport. the heavier the weightclass the more guys weigh. the guys in the 275 and 308 classes are pretty fat. most of the guys in the 242's and everyone under are ripped and cut. and they have a thing called functional muscle. bodybuilders lift to look like they lift lots. they lift alot less then they should

  • Nice Guy (:

  • Also, hence this is INCLINE bench press. Not FLAT. ;)

  • @inktoxicated And not only they look much, much better. Powerlifting bench press technique involves much more than chest muscles (they use those shirts for more weights, they don't hold the ass on the bench, and their range of motion is much, much shorter than bodybuilding bench press technique). So, yes, this is much more impressive. Especially when you know that bodybuilders don't train specifically for strength, muscular hypertrophy.

  • Are you sure the weight is 485 pounds ? cuz there it looks like it's 4 plates * 45 pounds per side, which means a weight of 405 pounds. But it could be also 55 pounds plates, for a total of 485 pounds ! But both 405 & 485 are MONSTER incline bench press, very impressive!

  • wie alt ist er?

  • 485 with no spotter?

    Cool story bro.

  • Remember that he still had 5 weeks to Bodybuilding Competition with 2500kcal

Dis Aufnahme von dem Clip habe ICH in Heidelberg 5 Wochen vor seinem Wettkampf gemacht. War also eine Starke Leistung von im!

  • well ive inclined 465 for 3 reps before but i went all the way down and touched my chest with a pause on each rep, and felt like i could do another one but had no spotter, just how much is he helping denis, and denis isnt going all the way down either, but he is strong ive watched him do this at powerhouse fullerton! big guy but short!

  • Damn. Good eye.

  • 500 even, he has a 2.5 lb'er on each side too

  • he was born and grow up in germany, he also contest for germany...

  • that is so much fuckin weight lol

  • Cool. I didn't know DJ knew German.

  • german

  • This is Dennis lifting in Thailand where he lives. Also, if that is five plates, the weight it 495lbs not 485lbs. The video was a bit grainy but I am assuming by the title that it's five plates on each side.

  • What language are they speaking?

  • che che che che che che che che che

  • in the basic excercises, they are able to lift more.. but who do you think would have the best chance of lifting a "atlas stone" from strongman sport? the BB or the powerlifter? ;)

  • yes their goal is to lift it ONCE but bodybuilders goal on the other hand is just to look big..

so yea powerlifters are still stronger ^^

its not like they train by doing reps of 1..
