Mike keep doing what you do. I am actually in process of becoming Catholic and love your videos of what it means to be Catholic.

Faith without works.......sorry to be confronting but Rome and the laity needs to promote a system of reference that ensures the Catholics of tomorrow are not exposed to this heresy. When you apply for a job there is a position description and a code of conduct that the employee must adhere to to keep their role. The issue here is simple. These priests are way outside the boundaries of their expected job description but keep their job !!!! Why is Rome surprised when the laity act the same...

@RCTV: LOL at dieting! Perhaps it would help the state of the Church if we fasted for more than just one day.

A lot can come out of a seemingly small sacrifice.

The Archbishop should be summarily excommunicated -- he probably isn't "cow towing" to the homosexual lobby; he's probably part of it. The Vatican should act and act swiftly. Will it?

Nice thought. Great idea too. Thank you, Michael.

Fasting is a beautiful act of charity.

The power of fasting on bread and water is not to be underestimated. In addition, it provides a physical cleansing of your system because of the chemical reaction of bread and water. Fasting should be done on a regular basis, typically Fridays but two days a week is even better.
I was revisiting your excellent videos from last yr. I heard the fasting recommendation. My daughter & I made it permanent not just 1 day. Wearing the scapular, fasting on Weds & Sats, no meat, just cereal bar in am, no lunch, main meal at dinner. Skipping lunch entirely throughout the week, offering it up for conversions. Have found it helps even for everyday impulse control (i.e. excessive shopping.) I encourage everyone to try it. Is it true God uses these sacrifices for other things?

@lauermar God uses our sacrifices for many things - firstly, for us. Secondly, for those we assign the sacrifice to (in your case, conversions). We must unite our suffering with Christ for it to have effect - otherwise it is just dieting!
