I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Iggy Pop actually said this was better 'Iggy Pop' than he could produce himself. I really do like this song. I assume it's Ben's husky lead vocals, but I do like the backing vocals as well.

Check out The Cars Deluxe Edition - It's the original of The Cars plus a disk of demos of the same songs and more. I like a lot of the demos better - especially Don't Cha Stop & Moving in Stereo. These demos are rough in places but the vocals are great and you hear all of these cool things that get polished away in the studio for the "real" album.

@MikeIXWilliams the cars anthology: just what i needed (2 CD set) i'm not sure what other tracks were recorded for this album.
