I cant decide if i should play bass or guitar. i have both, but i cant decide which to start on first. ive practiced a little on both with beginners books from the same company. I'm at the point with the guitar to start learning chords, but they're really hard right now. it feels like i can do more with guitar, but i'd feel bad if i just left my bass there after putting about $200 into it (my family had the guitar before the bass, but i bought the bass with my own money)

personally i think there both equally good, depending on the type of music... I just hate it when guitar players rip on bass players

@cathairjoe111 i play both and i think bass is better,i know most people pick guitar because its cheaper and want to be the centre of attention in a band.
