@mustafahotaki There was no such language as Persian/Dari before the rule of Samanids. Before the Islamic conquest Sasanids official language was Pehlavi & Yeptalites, Kushans & Kabul Shahan's language was old Pashtu. Show me a reliable reference indicating Persian/Dari was a spoken language either in Iran or Afghanistan. Don't take me wrong, I am a Farsiwaan with Pashtun ancestors & learned Pashtu during my stay in Pashtunkhwa but Dari/Persian is a very new language.

@mustafahotaki Pehlavi being the middle Persian is the Iranian bulshit which does not hold any waters. As I indicated Persian/Dari has borrowed all its vocabulary from other languages including Pehlavi but certainly they are not the same. You will be shocked to see the diffference in the structure and grammar of the two languages. It is like the Indians now claiming Urdu/Hindi being daughter of Sansikrit which in fact was created but Ghorid Salateens during their rule of north India.

@Pakhtrian Dari is derived from the Farsi, and Dari used in Sultan mehmmuds Empire , Dari language was used in the indian subcontinant for the past 10 centuries, go and see the poems in written in the Taj mahal, and check Urdu language still Dari exist in it, Iqbal lahori was saying poems in Dari,not in pashtu,,,all the Great scholars and poets are in Dari language Mashahallah,,,for truth go to Encyclopedia...Dari is a complete language with any doubt...

there were more than 300 great poets poetary in his court or his darbar among them were Ferdawsi a great Persian poets with his great unique book (Shahnama of ferdawsi) and more

Dari means darbari it is mean when poeple used to talk infront of the King in king court ( Darbar) very politly that is persian a beautful langauge ever

in Sultan mahmood (Darbar ) court there were more than 300 great persian poets among them were sanahi great Ferdawsi ( shahnama ) which he presented to Sultan mahmood persian was the ofiicial langauge of indian subcontent and central Asia. till British came this region

The Ghorids were rivals to the Ghaznavids and bitter enemies. According to historical facts and my knowledge they were of Aryan/Pashtun decent. Their ancestors were the Amirs of Ghor going back to Amir Shansab grandfather of Amir Kror Suri. If you go even further back they claim their lineage to the legendary brothers of Sur & Saam. Please upload a video about the Ghorids who made a great contribution to Afghan culture and Islam.
