This application is an adventure book featuring photographer Toshiro Inamori's photographs of wild Borneo orchids taken over a span of more than ten years. It is also includes vivid descriptions based on his first-hand experiences.

Borneo is the largest territory of wild orchids. There are over 3,000 species of wild orchid and Toshiro Inamori has photographically captured more than 700 of them. Nowhere else in the world you can find such an extensive and diverse collection of orchid images.

These photographs are rare because they show not only the orchids themselves, but also the surroundings. In addition, Mr. Inamori captured these images alongside Mr. Anthony Ram, a foremost authority on orchids and a member of the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew.
The end result: these photographs are both stunning to look at and considered to be of great academic value.

The photographs included in this application represent only a small subset of Mr. Inamori's vast collection. However, in this special collection we include photographs of extremely rare wild orchids certified as endangered species (based on CITES), and photographs being made public for the first time.

While pushing deep into the bowels of the rainforest of Borneo, fueled by an insatiable passion for the orchid, our photographer, Mr. Inamori, has faced countless situations placing his life in peril. Every sentence included in this book comes straight from his experiences. Its an extraordinary story that you'll only find in this iPhone application.

The whole flower had a color of bright Lapis Lazuli and the high point had a pearly luminance.
