This is the first movement of the fourth (4th) section test piece for the UK Regionals 2008. It is called Four Cities Symphony, and it's by Rodney Newton. I thought I'd upload it for all fellow brass bander's out there who don't have the CD.

  • @raversfantasy666 Alors, vous avez gagné?

  • we played this in the french open and managed to win on it.

  • Could you please put The dark side of the moon of paul lovatt cooper on the internet as well or send it to me? Please, i have looked for it everywhere.

  • well its hard in the termsof articulation and intervals and also tuning they pick up on all of these things in sooo much detail its unbelievable, everyhting has to be so precise is a bit annoying =/

we managed to come 8th out of 24, i played 2nd horn (was on solo but they brought some other guy in who was grade 8, im only grade 6)

  • The thing thats brilliant with this is that it just sound difficult it isn`t that hard!

  • Thanks for the post it was interesting to hear the 1st part of this test piece. Im hoping to make it to Glenrothes on the 8/9th march for the Scottish 4th section regionals. I used to play many years ago and loved the regionals.
