he made the orthodox rastafarian church cause he didnt want people thinking he was god,(which he obviously wasnt)..he rightfully so told them jesus christ is the way..which is why bob marley converted before he died

@sneijder32 I truly appreciate your conviction and you really have a right to believe whatever you want, but even Selassie himself didn't claim to be God. He was a devout member of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church (A Christian church and religion , to which Bob converted before his death) as demanded by his political role in Ethiopia, and it was his role as Emperor of Ethiopia that he devoted his life to. His publicly known views towards the Rastafarians varied from sympathy to polite interest.

@danzig159 At least we pray for a figure that we know existed. We know all the good it did during its existence. Much better than praying to a God that nobody knows where it came from and that more people doubt their existence.

@sneijder32 I know what you mean and i respect it alot. You said that very well. But i saying that what you said about us knowing about bob marleys good doing just like others did knowing god. But we are fortunate to have better technology and trust more better between different races now making it easier to speak to all and dance and listen to anything with all such as our bob marley.
