The Awesome Avro Vulcan XH558. Dunsfold Wings & Wheels 2009..

Great effort from the crew flying XH558, because the weather was really closing in, with thick low cloud over the airfield, it was a great sight as the Vulcan flew in low from the south, the crowd were loving it, and the display finished with a nice Vulcan howl on climb out.

Same here, I really thought this display would be scrubbed due to low cloud, fantastic effort from the crew, also i got one of those excellent black Vulcan polo shirts from the Vulcan village.

I remember seeing a Vulcan at Farnborough when I was a kid... or was it Biggin Hill.. anyway, I my dad told me I cried and all the car alarms went off from the sheer racket, haha.

love the last few seconds. reminds me of the old VDF days where the throttles were cut and the aircraft whistled quietly overhead, followed by a full opening of the throttles and a massive roar would go straight through you. Nice vid, well shot in what looks awful conditions

The crew would not have minded about the weather, have a look at my clip above from RIAT this year on the Sunday. Great clip by the way!!!
