No doubt about it, Gisele MacKenzie and Dorothy Collins were among the brightest and most gifted singers to come out of 1950's television. As members of the Your Hit Parade cast, Gisele and Dorothy rarely got to sing duets. Here's one of the cutest and best, Tonight You Belong to Me. I recall the scene the song was set to in this 1956 performance had Gisele & Dorothy trick or treating at some lady's door, who filled their bags with candy.

  • Yep, this was originally telecast in October 1956, when pre-teens Patience & Prudence McIntyre's hit recording was "on the charts". And very few "mature" singers could get away with performing this without sounding "silly"- Gisele & Dorothy could!
