  • Only 22 states have some sort of legislation that guarantees people wrongfully convicted financial compensation. Write your legislatures because I think its completely fucked up that people can be told they are going to be murdered, sit in prison for 20 years, then have the government go "oops sorry have a nice rest of your life." These people went through torture and they should at least be paid for it. I would gladly pay my tax dollars for something like this.
