Model Train Layout Crossing Signal

These are a pair of model power N scale signals that have been wired to infrared detectors along the track to detect oncoming trains and a blinker circuit to flash the signals. There is also a sound module for realistic sound effects. (Video 2) The train consists of a Kato UP AC4400CW locomotive, kato 70 ton hoppers and a kato ATSF lighted caboose.

i have a proposition for you , are you able to tell me how much the kit is for the signals to flash and also if it was possible for you to purchase the kit for me and ill send the money through to paypalor accounts. i dont want the sound kit, but am curious how much the sound kit is. im in australia and no one seems to know what i should do. your help would be really appreciated

Actually, I built the kit myself with parts from Radio Shack. Just do an internet search and you should find what you are looking for. I'm not a dealer so I don't have what you need. I'm sure someone from there is into model trains to ask.  If not, do a Google search.

i bought these same signals but they wont flash. what am i doing wrong

You have to buy a kit that hooks to the signals to make them flash. Then there is a sound kit you can hook to it to make the bell sound.

Thats pretty sweet, I am working on building up some crossing circuits and want to incorporate a working crossing in my layout. Right now I am working on the CTC Portion of the layout, check them out on my channel if you like.
