Canstruction has been run by Cheri Melillo out of a small office at a design firm in New York City for 16 years. Canstruction is her "side job", unsalaried. She alone receives the requests and responds to everyone. She has no staff and has reached the point where she cannot meet the demands. Architects, designers and engineers mentor students who volunteer to build the structures. She envisions scholarships for students. Her belief, "teach them to fish." Canstruction needs a benefactor.

We see the numbers of people homeless here in California continue to increase ,including single Mothers with Children...With donations way down. This is so cool...Please Organize a Canstruction event in Your Area ...
