grassroots, inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1997 to educate professionals and the public about land use issues in widely-popular programs, such as beach erosion, watershed development and low-impact site design. We have DVDs of our programs, such as our 3-part TV series on coastal storms, "Gambling Against Mother Nature." These popular programs were funded by a grant from NOAA and Mississippi/Alabama Sea Grant. Our new half-hour TV program on flooding, funded by another NOAA grant,"But it never flooded here before!," is also available on DVDs.
