  • @rayzn11 ...sure, but he doesn't have to lose his head, LIFE sounds/looks like a better choice

  • What regulations are you referring to?

  • Now many republicans support higher regulation of health care companies, but still believe it should be privatized. This is a complete contradiction.

If you do not believe in a government that should highly regulate the market, then you cannot have high regulation of health care companies.

  • What Ron Paul and others cannot understand is that by preaching "private health care" he is supporting a whole other injustice. You say that you do not want to pay for others health care. But you are willing to support a health care system that is solely created to make profit. That is all these companies are concerned about.

This injustice is inherent in a private health care system. People will be denied health care if the costs are too high for the companies.

  • @Edgehead10075 I find nothing wrong with paying for health care for those who cannot afford it themselves. Some simply cannot receive it because they have pre existing conditions and are not eligible for most health care plans.

  • @Edgehead10075 to preach personal responsibility.

  • @Edgehead10075 Which is completely ridiculous. In an ideal world everything could be explained by "personal responsibility" But the reality is that many of us are born privileged. When you think about it were all privileged to a large extent. Most of us have a place to live, food on our table. In many parts of the world this is not attainable to the large masses.

Also consider the fact that most wealth is inherited. It's easy for a person born to a wealthy or even middle class family

  • I don't believe that it's theft, but that's what he believes; he's a libertarian. He believes in "personal responsibility."
