@A1var3z360 don't root, its illegal and they will come to your house and arrest you...

"Good video bro," but when your giving advise try to talk clearly with more detail." I'm frustrated trying to figure how to root the device.

does this void the warranty?
-
Will this work for any EVO 4G build, e.g. the latest 4.22.651.2. Android 2.3 Gingerbread just released Jun 6?
-
If you revoked it is your phone taken off the warranty? Like the iPhone when you jail break it

@A1var3z360 Depends on what you want to do. You can do anything already with it not rooted. But with it rooted you can access a lot more then just the surface stuff. as far as your parents go, i dont know about that.

@umarrulez98 NO unless you can change how it connects, but the only other service iv seen this used on was Cricket.

I downloaded unrevoked and installed it but i did not get the superuser permission screen? What does this mean? I have not updated to the new software 2.2 (i'm still with 2.1. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

@mrAlfonzo1997 ok, there are a few updates for 2.1. so really it would depend on what update you have, after that, then you can go and find the right revoked, but really just do a true root because this can not be undone now. The new one.
