Matt Viguerie, head pro at Mission Viejo Country Club provides expert review of the medicus, momentus, speed stick and clubface golf CF40 swing trainers based on his experience with his students as PGA Instructor.
The speed trainer for me was not a good product. To swing the stick at 125 mph I was on my toes at impact. This guy had the medicus tightened all the way up that is why it didn't break down.
I've the Medicus iron and driver. I bought the iron 2 yrs before the driver. They will make you swing in the right positions but that doesn't mean you will hit a good shot every time. I would still recommend the products. My son bought the Momentus he likes it but being left handed I couldn't hold it with the preset fingering the grip was made in. It will make you hinge your wrists though more quickly than you probably use to.
Personally, I would use the CF40 to ingrain the proper take away...then transition over to the medicus to ensure proper follow-through...of course, this is just what "I" would do! I still think that the medicus, along with the "Inside Approach Golf Swing Trainer" (Endorsed by Jack Nicklaus) are the two best aids on the market ATM!
Comparing CF40 w/speedstik or momentus is apples and oranges. Those clubs are designed with the main intent of helping develop faster clubhead speed to increase your distance.
Pull an old iron out, get a narrow box, affix some construction paper to it matching the CF40 color scheme, align with and attach to club. DIY CF40. It won't be as pretty but it will be free.
i have been using the momentus for almost a month, and my swing has improved alot. you need to use it properly to get results. so i have to disagree with this video.
The Medicus driver was the WORST purchase I ever made. It is not worth the money and Medicus will try to pressure-sell you on other products which are not worth the lofty price. Avoid Medicus.
Speed stick is probably the least useful club out of the three...I use a homemade momentus...which is a really heavy bar I got from home depot with a grip in it..

Someone get this guy a hat or some sunglasses. The glare is killing him.

you didnt even use the momentus correctly...you are supposed to swing it 18 inches forward then bring it back and you will not go off the swing path.
