Not many duets can come close to the perfection, not only in the singing, but in the facial expressions and body language in general, that generates the best chemistry between two great performers. Thanks for showing it.

I played piano for Jack while we were at University High School in West LA and played for Joanie while we were at Santa Monica City College -- "those were the days my friend... we thought they'd never end"...

This is an excellent example of the comaraderie that existed between performers and the audience. It is like a touch of musicial comedy as a vignette. Maybe I am reading too much into it, but they were REALLY singing those words to each other on a personal level. Good stuff!

This was back when entertainers relied on voice quality, great musical writing & arranging for impact. They didn't wear revealing or "food" clothes, nor engage in attention getting destructive antics. Joanie Sommers looks and sounds wonderful fully dressed. Jack Jones is a class act, also. Thank you for reminding me what REAL ENTERTAINMENT used to look like. Peace to All.
