This is an old teaser trailer for the fan made game made in 2007, Final Fantasy: Zero developed by Leon Corp. for the PC. Unlike the previous upload this one actually had music. Although it had to be trimmed down a little to fit better with the music due to the lagtime in the making of the video.

I DID "go away" until you provoked my return. Way to read dates. Also, I merely provided constructive criticism in a harsh manner. I assure you, good sir, that every complaint I voiced was quite valid.
Lastly, "if I haven't got a better project to show them?" What a flawed way of thinking. I guess you believe I have to qualify as a master chef to tell someone his cooking is bad, too?
To both of you, first of all RPGFakerXP although I appreciate your defending me it was not necessary anymore.
Secondly to Seventh Redemption. Yes, I'm aware my grammar is horrible. There is RTP but quite frankly I'm not trying to create a commercial game here so I don't see the point, I do have a life beyond RMXP, I'm just having fun creating a love-song to the fans. As for what makes it Final Fantasy, seriously do you always see Chocobos or Shiva in trailers? Come on that's just nitpicking.
I'm going to be sincere for once. No flaming, I promise.
The grammar you use when replying to me is very near flawless. I'm not sure what happened in your trailer, but if you could apply this there, then the mess would take care of itself.
I know you're not trying to create a commercial game, but I did visit your site and saw that you went so far as to include voice-over credits and I know there is at least one person writing music for this project. If you're going to put so much effort into these other areas of the game, then I don't see why you would not put substantial or equal effort into original graphical presentation, as well.
Keep in mind that the majority of RMXP projects still use these very same graphics, and no matter how beautiful your music is, how deep and moving the story, or how well your characters are voiced, no one is going to infer all of that from screenshots alone; they will see default RMXP graphics and pass over your project because the focus will be imbalanced into non-visual areas. Really, it is amazing how little time a person has to make a first impression on another.
Maybe I am nitpicking, but if you were to present this trailer to any game development communities, they would most likely ask you the same thing concerning its connection to Final Fantasy. If you can't provide a stable link, then the more elite in particular will berate you, and you wouldn't want that. I'm not saying this trailer needs Chocobos and summons; I'm just saying that if the game fails to connect with the FF universe, then it would be better to take the FF name off of it altogether.
Go ahead and have fun with your project. Game creation can be more fun than actually playing them, after all. Simply take what I've said into account so that your project can shine more than it already does. Constantly going above and beyond will get you your deserved recognition.
Actually about the graphics, one the most successful RMXP Games out there is Master of the Wind and it uses the RTP everywhere. I am using some custom graphics and quite a few things have changed recently but again, It would be near impossible to get completely original graphics.
Give then nature of your posts and that you took the time to post so many of them, for some reason I never saw them until today. I do thank you for that and for your advice.
No, but if you think others are so bad, maybe you should show them how to do it, not tell them how to do it. But I'm leaving it here. I'm not gonna fight with you, at least I let people have their opinions.
RMXP's graphics are cool if you're ten years old. Serious projects will strive for more. I guess I'm not "everybody," because I'm certainly not taking this anywhere near seriously until he cleans it up a bit.
How you can defend his syntax is beyond me, being one capable of competent sentence structure yourself.
I didn't see a single connection to FF in this trailer. Sorry. If this connection is to be the selling point of the game, then it needs to be obvious.
