Lonesome Jake, 12 year old, seasoned ranch raised gelding from Oklahoma. Neck reins with one hand, walks trots and lopes willingly. Very quite, honest broke horse that will side pass up to a gate and open. Not lazy and can be a little quick when pushed. Picks up all four feet with ease and jumps into a horse trailer correctly and then backs out with ease. Ranch branded, brand new negative coggins test. Ride this gelding single, double, bareback and will just ride with a halter. Always very broke while riding and always under control.
Jake is very friendly and easy to catch in the pasture. Good with other horses and good with inexperienced people on the ground and under saddle. under saddle this gelding is also very confident and knows to stay calm. will not pick up his speed till asked and will drop to a walk with just a light pressure.
