MATC Parking Lot Flooding

A record 3.63" of rain at the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, WI set a new record daily rainfall for September 22nd. The previous record was 1.37" on September 22 1988. Obviously creating flooding around the area. This dramatic event happen at the Madison Area Technical College on September 22, 2009.

In addition, this amount sets the record for any daily rainfall in the month of September. The previous record daily rainfall for September was 3.40" set on September 18th, 1874.

Hey, is that in Wisconsin? If so, is it near Madison? I am in California, LA area. I am looking for places that would be ideal for my family & I. The number 1 reason I am thinking about moving, is we can have earthquakes here. I though Wisonsin was a Disaster free area, is it?
