@sandykopi no way... george's son is right there in the back standing in AWE of prince, while laughing and smiling... if his own son is loving it, "chances are" george would've loved it... granted, he probably would've hated the fact that Prince threw such a gorgeous telecaster in the air afterwards... but he just destroyed the hell out of it anyways... what good was it to him anymore?

Prince ALSO writes EVERY note and plays EVERY instrument on EVERY ONE of his records... if you actually listen to any of his music, you'll hear what a nasty, crazy, innovative guitar player he actually is. He's absolutely incredible, and probably one of the most slept on guitar players of this century; notably because of his outrageous persona... all part of the genius.

I am really puzzled at all you people, only NOW you realize what a musical giant Prince is? If Prince was nothing but a guitarist in a band he would be considered the best guitarist in the world! but no, cuz he does so much more!!!!!!!! He walked off the stage telling everyone eat my dust!

Is funny that It took Prince 30 years to be discover by the traditional and very conservative classic rock crowd, but this small guy it's been rocking since the 70's, I invite everyone to search for Prince 80's club gigs were he rock the guitar amazingly.
Lately Prince hasn't been to rebel but in my humble opinion his musicianship has evolve to a very mature sound, you should chek out his Coachella and Jazz festival performances, the guy is simple brilliant, probably the best of his gen.

i think what amazes people about this performance is, they did not know prince could play like that, did you ever watch the guitar work on purple rain, from 1984, look it is simple the guy is an all around master of instruments like it or not the man knows his shit and has always pushed his limits all his career, give credit where credit is due, prince owned that solo and it was a great tribute to a great song and man, hands down
