For more tutorials, visit http://myownhomeserver.com . In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to install XAMPP 1.7.7 (Apache 2.2, PHP 5.3, and MySQL 5.5) on your Windows 7, Vista, or XP computer. In addition to that, I also walk you through setting up the basic security features for XAMPP and get you started on running your own personal web server!
Thank you for your help.

hi, I 've a problem with Xampp 1.7.7 .
When it finished the instalation and opens the control panel everything works great! when I restart my computer, I open the c.p. and start the php and mysql services works ok. But when I want to sut down xampp the services don't close, actually it shows a error message -1 something like that. Any ideas what's wrong? I'm on Windows 7 64 bit home edition

Thanks very much. I just started to program again after 2 years and this really help.
I really tried badly to install apache and php individually but this was impossible... until I discover this XAMPP, which I swear was related to winamp at first...
