*NOTE: Download instructions below!

For this Veterans Day, I want to share with everyone this awesome video I found in the public domain. It does a fantastic job of illustrating the debt of gratitude that we owe to those who have worn our Country's uniform in the past, and to those who wear it today.

I wish I could claim credit for this video, but I did not make it. However, it is my pleasure to post it here, in tribute to those who are willing to give our Country the last full measure of their devotion...Thank you for watching! ENJOY AND SUBSCRIBE!! };-)

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:

This video isn't mine. It is in the public domain and can be downloaded and used by everyone. There is a great tool that I use on a regular basis to download videos from YouTube that has been working great for me. It will help you download this video or any other and convert it to Windows Media format so that you can play it on any computer. As always, behave responsibly while using this tool and make sure that you don't break any copyright laws, OK?

The link is here: http://download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downloader/3000-2071_4-10647340.html

This tool is available for free and it works great! The fact that it is sponsored by CNET/Download.com means that you can use it without having to worry about spyware, malware, etc.

  • Freedom isn't free one of the dumbest statements I ever heard, and all the brainless conditioned humans believe it, repeat it, and live it, and die it.

  • @DavidTexen The statement may sound odd to you, but it is a true statement. Freedom has a cost that those who don't know anything about history can't appreciate. That cost is also ignored by those who have had their freedom handed to them on a silver platter, as is the case with many here in the States and in the western democracies who say things like what you've said. Freedom definitely has a price, my friend. Don't be shortsighted. And thanks for the sub.

  • BTW- @armyveteran101st :

The video is titled "freedom isn't free", but if you censor your comments section, that's NOT freedom.

And if you don't allow This comment to post, then you only prove me right about everything.

  • @planetery I screen the comments because many come to this video to complain about U.S. policy and about the U.S. military, and this video is not the proper venue for that kind of stuff. This video is about honoring those who volunteer to serve the country, regardless of politics. I generally don't have a problem with people expressing themselves as long as they do it respectfully and in a way that makes sense. Your comments will not be censored as long as you stick to that formula.

  • @planetery BTW, your first comment was deleted because it didn't stick to the formula.

  • @planetery Your subsequent comments were deleted for that reason as well. This is not a policy forum. If you come here for any purpose other than to pay homage to those who have fought and died for this country, you are in the wrong video. I won't dishonor the memory of our fallen by allowing people to turn this homage to them into a crass political discussion. Even though I feel no apology is necessary at all, I nevertheless apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • @zaurakdigis I generally view statements like yours with suspicion, because the distinctions you are trying to make here are irrelevant to the purpose and spirit of this video. I don't appreciate it when attempts are made to question the worthiness of a veteran's service on the basis of the capacity in which he/she served. All veterans took the same Oath and made a pledge to uphold that Oath at the cost of their lives if necessary, and they're all equally worthy. All gave some, some gave all.

  • GOD BLESS ALL WHO GAVE SO WE COULD BE FREE AND MAY WE NEVER FORGET OUR HERO'S WHO WENT WITHOUT SO WE MAY WALK FREE I AM IN AWE OF ALL MY HERO'S I LOVE YOU ALL FROM MY HEART AND MY SOUL BLESS THEM AND KEEP THEM ALWAYS WITH US X0X0X TYILUALL

  • We owe the freedom that we are enjoying today to these men and women. What they have done today and yesterday made everyone cherish this freedom.
