Haha Obama isnt going to do shit. He lied to the public a number of times, from saying he wanted to decriminalize it, to saying he would stop DEA raids on medicinal dispensaries, to RAIDING medicinal dispensaries, and then finally to laughing at the idea of legalization. His promise of "rethinking the failed drug" isnt going to happen, along with the countless other promises he made. Obama's a joke.

@phatboyfromla Nicely put! However I'd like to add that there's gotta be some kind of lobbying from the privatized prison industry as well. Almost all state and federal penetentiaries (spell check?) have been outsourced to huge companies like geo group and they literally trade their stock on wall street based upon how many people are in their system. 60% of their population are non-violent drug offenders. The FDA and the DEA just keep the money flowing in one direction, they don't fight drugs.
