This is our blind Quarter Horse named Cash, who has been with a horse trainer in Missoula being trained for riding. Cash came to us as a blind 4-week foal from Alabama back in 2007. You can read his story on our Web site here: http://www.rollingdogranch.org/horses/cash.html. He turned four years old in 2010. We knew he had a lot of potential, so we found an excellent trainer to work with him this spring. This video shows the trainer already riding Cash at the end of the very first week. He's an amazing young horse!

  • soo cute! i watched his videos as a foal! so he doesnt jump does he, since hes blind and hes in a western saddle?

  • This is so great! :)

  • This is just amazing and proves that blind horses really can live a promising life and do so much! It is great that you found a trainer that would take him on and understand how to train him! I knew a horse that was blind in one eye and everyone said he would never be able to jump due to distance perception, but he jumped 4 feet. His owner would help him by saying "stride, stride, JUMP!" to help him gauge the distance. Amazing what trust can do for horse and rider.

  • That's amazing! He is so gorgeous as an adult!

  • oh wow thats like awesome r u sure he's blind i dont think so

  • That's cool! I watched the videos of him as a foal and now it's so cool to see him all grown up and happy!! :D
