Hi peter here, I see with this machine it goes round the other way, and the pay box is not in the center but on the outside, so no one has to go in the center it looks empty and bare, its off limits, not the same as the skids i love and know.

i wish there were more of these still travelling! they are much more exiting than the waltzers and are much more enjoyable to ride coz they dont make u feel sick like the waltzers do! the skid was once the fastest ride at any fair ive seen one of these being run at way over 80mph! the cars leave the floor at that speed and the ride is just a blurr! you have to be a skilled rider to press the pedal at just the right moment to get the cars to hit the cable and flick properly!
