Look closely on the first two stabs, he goes right through the skull.

Seems like an outlet for angry/violent folks taking out their frustration on an inanimate object. Yeah all of these are deadly and seemingly over the top but towards objects that don't move/defend/strike back which is very one-sided. I don't really see the attraction but I guess everyone is different. Would be more interesting to see accuracy/technique instead of raging stabbing/cutting/hacking which is what this seems to promote.
