One of the few hip-hop artists/groups I can honestly say have soul. There is something about using instruments that connects you to the music you make - can't say that for most bands though

Aye, Soulja Boy is in the mainstream, so of course he has tons of views. The Roots tries to keep out of the mainstream as much as possible, opting to keep to what they consider "the roots" of hip-hop, the underground vibes. The reason they aren't all over BET and MTV isn't by circumstance, but by CHOICE.
