"Rumble in the Park" is our first "real" movie that we managed to finish. Everything started in the summer of 2001. Knowing very well that at the time being we would have been incapable of directing a "cosplay" movie such as the ones done by "Les Bitoman," we decided to try and film a much simpler project in which we would only need two actors. The movie just depicts a one-on-one fight for which we only needed one cameraman. The scene was pretty difficult to do since only three people were involved in the project. Actually, thinking back on it, if we had placed the camera on a tripod and a single actor played the two protagonist roles, with a few editing effects, we could have achieved the same result with just one person :)
Rumble in the Park est notre premier "vrai" film, que l'on a pu terminer. Tout a commencé l'été 2001, comprenant que l'on ne pourrait pas tourner un film "cosplay" à la Bitoman, on décider de faire un truc plus simple, nécéssitant peu d'acteur. Juste un petit combat un contre un avec un cameraman, difficile de faire une scène de combat avec moins de personnnes (3), quoique si on avait fixé la camera sur un pied et qu'un seul type joue les 2 protagonistes, avec trucage au montage, on aurait pu le faire avec une seule personne :)

This looks so old, especially with the music choice. It reminded me of mortal combat the movies and old arcade games.

@JakeLikesJoking Lol, that's because it's from 2001 and we shot it with an old Hi8 camera. It was our first attempt at doing a short. Now, we've improved a lot but it's fun to watch old stuff ;)
