@flintstonecom In video "Morihiro Saito Sensei Jo Dori" (watch?v=d3G2wM8wyGQ), Saito sensei handed the jo nicely to the uke. No throwing it on the mat. There is no such bad standard, just bad excuses.

@Trgvo This is standard weapon handling according to Iwama Ryu as taught by Saito Sensei. There's no disrespect or arrogant attitude. Knowing before posting is a good idea!

Throwing the boken on the mat and let the student gather it instead of handling it to him. What an arrogant attitute. Respect is some thing people deserve and this master is NOT worth it.
