@pp5035 sorry, I haven't figured out how to extend it.

Hi, on the time lapse I understand that the G9 limits it to only 2 hours. Do you know how I can extend it beyond 2 hours? Thanks!

Thanks for this wonderful How To!
Got my first time lapse video yesterday thanks to your instructions.

You rock dude... :)
i have a G9 but i never knew that it has these awesome features too... :D
Well can you please tell me how to operate that Manual Focus thing on the camera (MF on the dial on the right side to the Lcd)...

@sonugill89 When the dial on top of your camera is set to P Tv Av or M you can then push the MF for manual focus. This magnifies a square in the middle of your screen. Then you can turn the round dial that has the ridges (the one around the MF button) to manually focus. Hope that helps.

@Timasu
Thanks for your reply dude... I already have an idea about this but i dont know how to actually Focus something... when i rotate the dial with ridges it doesn't make any difference in the Focus Square and the area arround that square... Aint the area arround the square is supposed to be blur than the square..???
Please help me with this... :)

@sonugill89 I'll admit that I don't use it much. It looks like when you first push the MF it is already in focus, and then you have to turn the dial a lot one way or the other for it to go out of focus. It should show that bar with the ft or inches. I was able to take it in and out of focus, and then when I got it where I wanted I took a picture, and it then applied whatever was in the square to the entire photo. I just noticed that I had to turn that dial a lot before it changed the focus.

how do i increase shutter speed for movie mode?

@TheBoyChur The only way I know is by choosing "Standard" 640 x 480 (30 fps) or "High Resolution" 1024 x 768 (15 fps). When your top dial is set to video you can then turn the larger dial on the back to choose the type of video you want to shoot. I mostly use this camera if I want to make time-lapse videos.
