Last night the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage Board of Education discussed the proposed budget for next school year, which could have a potential $3.1 million deficit. Nothing was approved for that budget, which will need to be approved by June 30. It is then revised later in the year usually in January or February.
The board approved a new 5-year professional development plan and its ProPay agreement with the Burnsville Education Association. It recognized its employees of the year and outgoing student advisor Brendan Kurvers. Next year's Burnsville High School student advisor to the board is Jehan Elsagher.
