It has been more than 50 days since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. The rig burned and sank but BP is still struggling to plug the leak that is pumping millions of litres of oil into the ocean. On this episode of the Riz Khan show, we look at the short- and long-term impact of the spill on the residents of the Gulf coast who depend on those waters for their livelihood.
