Anyone is free to write about their country anyway they like {at least the free countries can} Berlin choose to write this song about the USA and he wanted to convey that message. That doesn't prevent other countries from writing their OWN song,does it?

Absolutely not. Your appreciation for liberty is refreshing. I guess when I think of America, I do not think of the government at all. I think of the actual people and the landscape and I know it is still a good place. Im guessing you read my earlier joke regarding God and his motives for blessing America as opposed to other countries. It was misconstrued and I have since apologized (even though like you I believe in my American liberty to say whatever the fuck I want).

NO i didn't read your earlier posts. America is beautiful and so are the ppl. {for most part] It's true that I guess anyone could substitute their country for America, ie..God Bless Cuba! It is just an idea that I hope still exists in the US. Yes, we are free to say what we want. At least for the moment! Happy Turkey Day tomorrow!
