Reviewing literary terms could mean a long, dull day in AP English class, but students using Quizlet on Monday found out how addictive the vocabulary review site can be. Led by teachers Dee Andershock and Kristen Paul, students entered the 90 terms into the site and then turned the activity loose on the rest of the class. Five different activities challenge students to match terms with definitions, type words as their meanings scroll by, or complete a test-like exercise. At the end of the day, Cameron Jerina out-did the rest of his peers by matching the eight random terms with their definitions in a mere 9.4 seconds.
