I know that an organized work force scars the hell out of you 3% guys or you $250k and up guys. Companies that move overseas should be taxed to hell and companies that stay in the US should have vary low taxes. If companies move overseas for the cheep labor the items that they send back to the states should be taxed to hell.

i hate puppets, i mean politicians. fuck the nwo, illuminati, royal imbred fuckin families, and the greedy international bankers who control the world... but atleast they say thank u when the shove it up your ass and break it off. have a nice day.

I wouldn't have a problem with a "secret ballot", but it HAS TO be a secret from EMPLOYERS too. Companies can't hire Jackson-Lewis to bust the union, fire workers who are union friendly, interview to captive audiences and still claim that the ballot is "secret".

Huh?

Lies.

Speaking as a simple critique against the filming style of the commercial itself, the mobster snaps too late! Or the guys come out too early.

Norm Coleman supports the private ballot and our nation's democratic principles. Al Franken wants a system where Big Labor calls all the shots. Letting union bosses watch over my shoulder will expose me to all sorts of retribution if I don't support the union. I don't want anyone to know how I vote, not my employer and not my "friends" in the union; but this bill let everyone know how I vote. That's not a free choice, that's a forced choice.

This ad is completely misleading. Do your research. You think Norm Coleman cares about union workers? The Southeast Minnesota Area Labor Council said "Norm Coleman is not on our side.Norm Coleman consistently puts special corporate interests and the Republican Party ahead of the best interests of middle-class Minnesotans". Check his voting record. He has consistently voted against workers overtime rights, against strengthening Social Security and against extending unemployment benefits.

DEAN BARKLEY!!!!
Wrong. Only after the majority of workers sign up for the union. Why would you need a ballot then? Simple, to give more time to attack the union.

Your comments show your ignorance to the way the organizing process works today and how the Employee Free Choice Act would change it. The Act puts the control back in the hands of workers and imposes penalties for employers who today get away with intimidation, coercion, and harassment. It puts some teeth back in to the National Labor Relations Act. Period. Cards are collected no differently under EFCA than they are today. Get educated man.
