"Digital Habitat" 2003 (Early Projection Mapping | New Media Art Installation)

Digital Habitat (Hábitat Digital), by Petronio Bendito, is a site-specific installation in which computer-rendered animated and scripted compositions, numbers, and text are projected from a single source system to create an immersing experience. A fourth dimension is added to the installation by the digital music of Didier Guigue, which was conceived in parallel to the creation of the work. Hábitat Digital premiered at Galeria Archidy Picado, Brazil (2003). The space was studied, in which projections were conducted on several occasions.
