The city of Tel Aviv is celebrating his 100th anniversary in 2009. It was the first Hebrew city in Israel.
69 families from Yafo bought in 1909 land in the dunes of what became later Tel Aviv. The plan was to build a Garden City but they never expected what would became out of it.
Dutch reporter Johan van Gelder interviewed mayor Ron Huldai in his office of the 12th floor of the city hall about this event. He was assist by Ben Ami Ehrlich. (Part II).

Thanks for uploading. Pity you didn't show in these 2-part videos about the rich cultural life (art, music, indoors and outdoors in the streets) in Tel-Aviv. But never mind - you still have time to come again.
