Maybe Tnye was awful, but Tyne was great. I saw her do Gypsy twice on B'way. I suppose Patti is okay if you ignore your ears bleeding!

Talk to me when you've all seen her Roses Turn. While she doesn't sing the song through as much as Bernadette or Angela, she IS Rose. Her grip on the character is both inspiring and entrancing, I could not look away.

The technical voice is just a tool in the American Musical Theatre. If you want to hear just a voice, go to La Scala or the PO. Ms.
Daly is Mama Rose. I feel the pain of Mama Rose and her daughter in Ms. Daly's performance.
